ABOUT
Our place is located just 20 minutes from the center of Tokyo.
Shiki Shi is the name of the city, in Saitama Prefecture.
Although close to the bustling city of Tokyo here you will enjoy tranquil surroundings with a countryside feeling. Our Airbnb apartment is just a few minutes walk from a wonderful river, a favorite among sports fisherman. Here you can stroll near the water and if you're lucky you will spot the very shy Kingfisher (the bird that was the model for the bullet train Shinkansen).
ROOM
The Airbnb apartment is newly renovated and designed like a loft high up on the fifth floor. One large room on the south corner with a lot of light and open-air feeling. All furniture and appliances in the apartment are new. The bar kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a nutritious breakfast or a grandiose dinner. Included is a beautiful English toaster, microwave, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine and much more. Standing in the kitchen is like being on the bridge of a ship with a through-the-windows outdoor view to the east and to the south. And on a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji majestically rise on the horizon.
The loft has one double bed and the sofa can be turned into a full-size bed for two. You have free high-speed fiber wifi. The apartment has AC and separate bath/shower and toilette. There is a washing machine in the bathroom.
The apartment building is surrounded by private villas and our wonderful garden which will be available for you. If you have a rent-a-car we will have a parking for you. There is also bicycle stand next to the building. The building has an elevator.
